Hardcore Drugs - Don't do them pl0x.

So it was mentioned somewhere that A Requiem for a Dream was a must see.

It came out in 2000, when I was a little lad and it's pretty much about drugs - hardcore drugs that fuck the shit out of you, which destroys your common sense and sense of reality. It looks like they seem to enjoy it in the first, what appears to be a year, then it all goes downhill from there. (predictable much) The feel of the movie is quite REAL and how it tries to illustrate what a high feels like and looks like to the drugged, it's based in the Bronx of New York.

The music that was composed specifically for this movie is amazing, but it is often repeated which I don't agree with, it should have been saved for the final moment of their lives...



The story with the mother is just sad, but her final hallucination is sooo trippy, I too though I was high, maybe because it was HD and I had surround sound and really got into it.

I think one of the things that really made this movie complete was the fact that Jennifer Connelly was in it <33. In this movie she is soo Hawt, whenever it was her scene it was pure eye candy, but it hurt to see her go through what she had to do even though it was all acting of course.
