Elevator 101

Alright bros,
Don't you get really pissed off when a perfectly able-body person uses the elevator to go up/down one floor? Especially when stair access is within 10 feet away?

This happens to me on a daily basis at my university. I take the elevator because I have six floors to travel and there is always these lazy ass, inconsiderate people who use the elevator to go up one floor and it makes taking the elevator miserable for people who actually need to use it.

Not only does it make it miserable for people traveling 2+ floors, but for handicapped people who need extra space, are crowded with these self-absorbed children think they need to ride the elevator for one floor.

So fuck this shit, I can't stop them really from taking the elevator so how bout I try a little elevator "hacking" and make the elevator go directly to the top floor while ignoring everyone else's requests to the 2nd floor LOL.

Fuck that shit I'm doing it.

  8. the more you know!
But I'm all about the stairs personally. You have to learn Elevator etiquette, there is no stair etiquette...

  9. Six floors? Take the stairs yourself, and you won't ever need to worry about those lazy 1-floor kids again!

  17. Haha, thanks so much for the comment and follow, mate! You've got my daily love, just keep giving us updates. Blogging is fast becoming my addiction.

For the record, that works like a charm, I work security at a hotel. And yes, every guest uses the elevator to go up one floor. And yes, the stairs are next to the elevator.

    Love the site!

  19. Oh god yes. Sometimes I see a fat person doing this and I start fuming inside. I'm taking the elevator because my girlfriend works on the 8th floor. You, are getting off on the second.

TAKE THE STAIRS IF YOU WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT.

  25. You *CAN* stop them from using the elevator, but it involves you riding in there with them.
It also involves eating some cabbage and beans...

  30. How about elevators that take an inexplicably long time to reach your floor? That always irks me.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Hahaha, I didn't know you could do that. o.O

  32. unfortunately this little trick doesnt work on my elevators

  33. You never know, some ppl take the elevator to go up one floor because they have been working the whole day, or have just had 3 classes nonstop. Even though they could just take the stairs, its easier to take the elevator. I myself lug around a huge laptop bag and book sometimes weighing over 30 lbs, so I may take the elevator instead of walking one flight of stairs.
